Christian Fellowship Church children filled hundreds of shoeboxes with gifts to celebrate Jesus birthday with children all over the world, through the Samaritan's Purse ministry "Operation Christmas Child".
(Visit the Samaritan's Purse website to learn more about the ministry, see videos and photos of kids and their shoebox gifts)

Recently, our own missionaries of the Tobago Mission, Tim and Michelle MacDonald and children Danica and Craig, had the opportunity to work with Operation Christmas Child in distributing the shoeboxes in Tobago.

The Tobago Mission

In February 2004, Pastor Tim and Michelle MacDonald, along with their children Danica & Craig,
left CFC to establish a mission in Tobago.
You can see photos and updates of the Operation Christmas Child plus lots of other outreaches

Tim and Michelle have opened the world of missions up to our children at CFC.
The Sunday School began bringing offerings a bus fund for a Tobago orphanage.
The Children's Church, ages 4-6, began to save their money over the months,
to send an offering to the Jesus Cares Orphange in Tobago.

Soles for China

Recently, Melvin and Maxine Frosst adopted Gabrielle Grace
at an orphanage in China.
The children of CFC wanted to send shoes, as a gift of love,
to the children of the orphanage where Gabrielle had grown up.

Soles for China was organized.
This was an evening of delectible desserts, served with tea or coffee.
Entertainment was provided by the CFC kids to a packed auditorium.

Admission to the event was a donation to "The Soles for China" fund
~  a donation to buy shoes for the children of the orphanage in China.
The income of the evening was almost $500.
Upon arrival in China, it was suggested that the money would be better used to purchase air conditioners for the orphanage to help the children deal with the excessive heat.

The Tobago Orphanage

The Sunday School presented our visiting missionary, Michelle MacDonald, with a cheque for $175 for the Tobago Orphanage.
